This summer, Danish photographer and mother of three Freja Troelsen visited Playtime Paris to explore the Spring-Summer 2025 collections from hundreds of international brands and next season’s trends. Having fallen in love with several labels at the show, she decided to do a kidswear photoshoot. Freja photographed her children Hedvig, Fridtjof, and Frigg in a celebration of the final rays of summer sun using products from their new collections. Let’s discover this beautiful kidswear photoshoot and her inspiration for it!
“The inspiration for this kidswear photoshoot was to catch the feeling of those last summer days. I wanted to capture the special light that appears at summer’s end. For the styling, I wanted it to be classic and romantic. With a hint of flowers, it makes us wish that summer would last just a little bit longer. I have chosen to focus on hair accessories as well, as I don’t think there is anything more pretty than bows in braided hair.
We always spend every day outside together in the summer. These are our favorite days, so I wanted the editorial to reflect that – the kids running around, eating apples, doing their thing. Light and nature are my biggest inspirations, and it seems that nature and a simple, romantic life were the inspiration for quite a few brands at Playtime Paris this summer.
Enjoy The Last days of Summer with us!”
