Every season, we team up with the trend forecasting agency Fashion Snoops to unveil next season’s trends at Playtime Paris and Playtime & Kid’s Hub New York. Acting as buying guides and inspiring resources for visitors at the shows, the AW25-26 kid’s trends Kinship and Sumptuous will be brought to life in the fashion trend spaces designed by our scenographer Amelie Lengrand. These spaces will feature artwork from incredible artists and a selection of products from brands exhibiting at the show that have been selected and styled by Marie Malissen.
The trends Kinship and Sumptuous for Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 are all about opulence! Bold colors are paired with daring prints in each, while luxurious materials make artistic design details even more outstanding. In Kinship, a celebration of artisanal craftsmanship is given a new edge by pairing traditional motifs with strong colors, edgy attention to details, and elevated fabrics. The familiar becomes bolder and brighter as ancient practices find a new home in our modern world. Meanwhile in Sumptuous, imagination and happiness are set free through an intense color palette that boldly brings to life exaggerated silhouettes. A game of textures is played throughout this trend, tapping into the joy of indulging the senses.

“In Kinship, we rediscover our intrinsic connection to nature through honoring Indigenous wisdom and craft practices. Enriched designs emphasize and exemplify intentional craft, cultivated materials, and local color.
